What Gets Onto This Site
Nothing on Vintage Studio is recommended from a product page alone. Alina Farley opens the file, prints it, and looks at it at the size it will actually be used — a design that reads beautifully as a 600px thumbnail can fall apart across the front of a shirt, and a scanned ephemera pack can turn out to be four images rotated. If a set does not survive that, it does not get written up, however good the listing looks.
How Files Are Checked
For digital designs we look at the same things every time: real resolution rather than the resolution claimed, whether the transparency is clean or fringed with white, whether the “distressed” texture is a genuine overlay or a low-quality JPEG saved as PNG, and what the licence actually permits — personal use, print-on-demand, or resale. Licence terms are quoted from the seller’s own page, and we say plainly when they are ambiguous.
Paper, Print and Physical Supplies
Paper, sticker and journal supplies are judged on the page: weight, whether the ink bleeds, whether the sheet yellows or curls, and how the material holds up once it is glued, stitched or torn. Where a number appears — GSM, sheet count, DPI — it is one we read off the product or measured ourselves.

Which designs make a list and in what order is decided before any link is added. A product is never included because it pays better, and unsuitable options stay in the article with the reason they are unsuitable.
Updates and Corrections
Every article carries a visible last-updated date. Digital shops change files, licences and bundles often, so guides are revised when the recommendation itself changes — not on a schedule to look fresh. If something here is wrong, write in and it gets corrected in the article rather than quietly deleted.
